eBay provided yet another update on the fate of its doomed Turbo Lister tool that continues to linger. eBay informed sellers it was ending support for the desktop tool in 2017, promising to keep the tool going until it could add its functionality to Seller Hub.
It did end support for Turbo Lister in the UK in February, and with the announcement of many changes in the Spring Seller Update, a seller asked if it would continue to support the tool in the US as promised.
“With what looks like pretty big category/item specific changes coming in the summer according to the Spring update……will Turbo lister continue to update? I’ve read some speculation that it will not……and this will be the beginning of it’s slow death,” the seller asked on May 1st.
An eBay moderator responded on May 7, 2019: “As of right now. The plans are to still release updates for Turbo Lister that will include changes and new categories. There aren’t any plans to make improvements to Turbo Lister. Hope this helps.”
