EcommerceBytes is surveying eBay sellers to see if they plan to keep their return policies the same once eBay’s new Managed Returns policy takes effect for all sellers by next year’s holiday shopping season.
Sellers who wish to offer their eBay customers a returns policy will be required to use “managed returns,” also called Hassle Free Returns, designed to make it easy for shoppers to return goods. Sellers’ only option in avoiding managed returns is to offer a no-returns policy. The news was announced as part of eBay’s Fall Seller Release, and some sellers had long predicted such a move by the company.
The survey delves into aspects of offering returns, including the reasons eBay buyers return goods, and it asks sellers if they think eBay should be instituting the managed returns policy for all sellers.
Please take the survey via SurveyMonkey.com, and we’ll share the results in EcommerceBytes.
