eBay is partnering with Sellbrite, a tool that helps sellers manage their inventory on multiple venues, including Amazon and Etsy. In an announcement about the deal, eBay VP of B2C Bob Kupbens said, “Sellbrite offers a powerful and intuitive multi-channel ecommerce solution, and we’re excited to be partnering with them to help sellers grow their business on eBay.”
Sellbrite cofounder Brian Nolan told EcommerceBytes the reason he believes eBay entered into the partnership: “eBay certainly wants more sellers to list on eBay, but they also recognize that successful merchants these days already have a multi-channel strategy and thus partnering with Sellbrite made sense.”
Nolan explained that Sellbrite already provides a comprehensive solution for eBay sellers to manage listings, inventory, fulfillment, and reporting. But, he said, as part of the new partnership, Sellbrite will enhance its integration with eBay accounts to provide sellers member-to-member messaging and notifications to ensure no communication is lost between platforms.
Nolan also said in honor of the new deal, Sellbrite is also offering new eBay sellers a special promotion to help them build their inventory and buyer network.
