Online sellers who use UPS should be aware of possible delays to delivery of their packages on the way to buyers. The shipping carrier announced today that severe weather in Louisville, KY, the home of UPS Worldport, might impact some deliveries.
At 8:12 am today, May 3, 2019, UPS updated the following alert:
Severe Weather in Louisville, KY Causing Delays
Severe weather in Louisville, KY caused a disruption in operations at Worldport, UPS’s main hub in the United States. As a result, scheduled delivery times for a limited number of packages may be affected.
Contingency plans are in place to help ensure that shipments arrive at their final destinations as quickly as conditions permit.

Yesterday, it noted that severe weather was impacting service in areas of Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.
