  1. I have a lot to say. Like clean up the mass produced shit that is dominating Etsy. Like a blind shite throwing monkey can see this site is not following ANY of its policies. Its a cheap Amazon 2.0. I have been here longer than you and and used to love it here. I made dang good money off my 45 yrs of hand picked vintage. I had movie studios and Broadway theaters and fashion photographers worldwide in addition to every day vintage lovers. I heard from my buyers 2 yrs ago that they are done with Etsy and my sales went from 50k a year to under 11k this year and not looking good. They said nothing but garbage that they can buy on Alibaba. That finding vintage is like digging through a dumpster. They cannot find what they even input on search without all irrelevant or mass produced showing for hundreds of pages even if they filter.
They hate the search and filter and say it is just too much work to find what they want.
You raised our fees 2 xs both stating you were going to clean this site up and yet nothing but more garbage and you even promote it.
I have started with Thrilling and as I work to leave you I will not miss this now pathetic site.
By the way you do know that your policies are binding and by knowingly and willfully ignoring them you are committing fraud right?

  2. This is probably more for Etsy’s legal department, but they REALLY need to enforce Etsy’s House Rules. I’ve played by them for 16 years but am very PO’d at the sellers who get away with selling stuff they’ve ordered wholesale. (I’m not referring to craft supplies!) My handmade things are home decor, so I keep an eye on those items in particular. Etsy went thru a phase of commercially manufactured windmill decor, as well as galvanized everything. If you REALLY want to get upset, search for “snack food” or “snack box” or snack pretty-much-anything on Etsy. There are gift baskets FULL of commercially manufactured CANDY BARS and SNACK FOOD! And please take a few minutes to report some of the listings.

  3. Yes, we should have been Grand Fathered in.
Immune to all of the kindergarten rules they’ve installed…..
And that 23% they remove from us now.
Good Ol’ days are long gone on Etsy and Ebay.
Insidiousness has permeated the eCommerce landscape.
Time to erase and start over.
