
Etsy will hold its annual shareholder meeting virtually on June 9, 2026. Shareholders will vote on a number of issues, including the reelection of former CEO Josh Silverman to the board of directors (as well as longtime director Fred Wilson and M. Michele Burns).
In its proxy filing with the SEC, Etsy also revealed the CEO Pay Ratio for last year (2025), as required by the SEC:
“For 2025, the annual total compensation of our median employee (other than Mr. Silverman) was $218,815 and the annual total compensation of Mr. Silverman, as reported in the Summary Compensation Table included in this proxy statement, was $18,072,322.
“Based on this information, the ratio of Mr. Silverman’s annual total compensation to the median of the annual total compensation of all employees was approximately 83:1.”
Silverman’s total $18 million compensation package included salary of $690,137, stock awards, options, non-equity incentive plan compensation, and “other,” which included $90,585 for security services.
Kruti Patel Goyal, became President in 2025, replaced Silverman as CEO on January 1, 2026, when she also joined the board. Her total compensation in 2025 was $9,789,037, which included a salary of $540,000.
Etsy also filed its annual report on the SEC.gov website on Friday. It will report its first-quarter 2026 earnings on April 29.
