  1. Latest U.S. retail data says that consumers continue to spend on Home Goods that were a hot ticket item during the peak of Covid. And supporting those higher price points are definitely where Etsy needs to be, as a business. As an artisan jeweler, jewelry sales with higher price points continue to be strong while raising prices has NOT deterred sales for most sellers. And now that life is getting back to normal for many, women want their jewelry as they go back to “work & play”.

    I’m very pleased to hear that Etsy is pushing higher price points. Because with that are buyers who have deeper pockets and more spending capital. As I’ve said many times throughout the years…

    “There is no money selling to people with no money”.
