  1. As someone who sells one-of-a-kind handmade jewelry, I find it ironic that Etsy brags about one-of-a-kind, but penalize us in the page rankings due to their algorithms favoring mass producers. Just saying.

  2. It’s a pity that Etsy is not as professional as it would appear. They have been known for blocking accounts from small business sellers, or those who are just starting out. Judging from the comments by sellers who were not notified in advance of the account suspensions, the only option is to close the account and take their business elsewhere. Etsy is no longer a viable marketplace for actual handmakers, it favors large brands and shops that pour thousands of dollars into listing fees, with no guarantee their merchandise will sell. I know because I was one of them. It’s no skin off my back. I have my own website.
