  1. It isn’t a myth.
Get RID of the 12% Success Penalty Fee.
That’s the name o’ THAT tune.
Etsy’s own Terms Of Service clearly state they can ERASE this illegal money grab INSTANTLY if they wish.

    1. I have complained to Etsy that I am paying 12% on on my sales that INCLUDES shipping costs. I cannot afford to ship my item, a room divider privacy screen, for free! I am already paying some of the shipping for buyers because it is an expensive item to ship . So wrong!!!

      1. I refer people to my own site while canceling ALL Etsy sales.
        Most of ’em show up.
If Etsy reacts, I get more traffic and ALL the sales :o)
We have to Poke ‘Em in the eye !

  2. https://www.etsy.com/legal/advertising

    Section 4 paragraph 1 :

    4. Disclaimers

Etsy reserves the right to change the terms of these advertising programs at any time, including addition of fees, addition or removal of platforms, or end the program (in whole or part) at any time. We will notify you of major changes.

See : they can stop it today if they want.
