When are they going to announce the introduction of Mangled Payments to their Chinese Partners? Since we have been told over and over that it only works with Sellers Hub, anyone want to bet that China never gets flipped over into Mangled Payments since Sellers Hub would allow Ebay to spy on Chinas citizens which is a violation of their agreement with China? They can’t even track the IP addresses so they can permanently suspend a Seller in China. I still think that Wenig has a sweet heart deal with the Chinese Government which will earn him a sweet Bonus sometime in the future if it already hasnt.
There’s really no need for eBay Managed Payments in the UK or EU for that matter as both markets permit P2P bank payments often in real time. No fees either. There was a need in the USA for PayPal since the domestic banks still don’t have the payments infrastructure some thirty years after it was introduced in most of the first world.
This will be the final nail in my ebay ‘coffin’ ((selling) account. No way will I allow the ebay crooks to ‘manage’ – mangle- payments from my customers. Been on there since 1999 and have watched the rolling disaster downward over the years. Seems China gets away with all things I have had listings pulled for. Time to cut a break to U.S. sellers.
