  1. Whoa! Hold on here.

    What about the US sellers trying to sell into Canada? Our rates and ship times are terrible. My Canadian customers are going to want to know why the rates are better in one direction than in the other.

    Once again, one of our trade partners gets the jump on us. PayPal would not be able to offer this service if the Canadian Postal system had not offered to work it out.

    The rates should be equal in both directions for it to be considered “Fair Trade.”

  2. The rates from this provider are not as good as using our Canadian postal service. I believe that each country negotiates their respective postal rates based on volumes entering their country and exported.
    The US still has very low rates on low value, lightweight items as compared to Canada. I disagree with your analysis that “our trade partners” have jumped the gun.
