  1. So “eBay Marketplace GMV – the value of sales of its sellers – was down 4% in the first three months of 2019”. I don’t give a crap about the foreign exchange. Our platform was down 4% in sales. That’s all any seller needs to know.

    Interesting they purchased more classified advertising when the Hedge Fund guys proposed getting rid of eBay Classifieds? Sounds like someone’s not listening. Not surprising in the least.

    Their figures are fudged very well. Search doesn’t work. Platform doesn’t work. Financial releases mean nothing to those of us who are subjected to their thievery, lies and ongoing BS.

    Get rid of the bugs, get rid of the continued money claw backs, get rid of the horrible Community, get rid of the useless CS’s, get rid of Wenig, the devil himself.

    1. Our platform is actually down more than 4% since the GMV figure includes shipping and handling charge (which rose up to 10% in the first quarter) and sales taxes which eBay is now collecting for certain states but is figured in the total sales number which totally exaggerates the GMV figure so I would say that in reality the total sales are down at least 10% the quarter if not more.

      eBay = Dead Man Walking
