“Might embolden UPS and FedX to raises their prices also” HA HA HA since when do they need to be embolden. Not only will these guys raises their prices they will be just a few pennies less the the USPS. None of these companies care as ITS ALL ABOUT THE BOTTOM LINE. The fatter the bottom line the bigger the paycheck for those in the ivory tower.
Raise the rates for the chineese garbage,

Once again the bulk mailers share none of the costs, continuing to be subsidized by consumers shipping parcels.
Flogging the daylights out of the American consumer because they are not smart enough to charge the chinese or amazon enough, thus happily losing money in volume. If that isn’t bad enough, the service is getting a lot worse and FAST. If they end up being privatized it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to me.
