Etsy announced on Thursday it is making its Targeted Offers marketing tool free for sellers, “indefinitely.”
Etsy launched the tool in April and ran a promotion during the holidays in which it waived the 10-cent fee for running Targeted Offer campaigns from October 23, 2018 through December 31, 2018.
You can read more about the feature and how sellers can use Targeted Offers to nudge shoppers into buying items in which they’ve expressed an interest in this EcommerceBytes Update article from December 8th.
Etsy announcement follows:
We hope you’re loving sending free targeted offer coupons this holiday season because we have some exciting news: targeted offers will continue to be free! We’re removing the $0.10 charge for targeted offers indefinitely.
So even more shoppers can be delighted by a coupon in their inboxes, we’re also removing the option to limit the number of targeted offers you send on December 21, 2018. We’ll automatically switch any campaigns to unlimited sends on that date.
