Amazon to Kick Off 12 Days of Deals on Sunday

Amazon logoAmazon will kick off a special “12 Days of Deals” shopping event on Sunday. Hundreds of new deals will be available each day from Sunday, December 2 through Thursday, December 13th.

Deal day themes include the following:

Sunday, Dec. 2 – Home Improvement
Monday, Dec. 3 – Gaming
Tuesday, Dec. 4 – Toys
Wednesday, Dec. 5 – PC
Thursday, Dec. 6 – Home
Friday, Dec. 7 – Fashion
Saturday, Dec. 8 – Baby, Pets & Camera
Sunday, Dec. 9 – Beauty & Personal Care
Monday, Dec. 10 – Electronics
Tuesday, Dec. 11 – Kitchen
Wednesday, Dec. 12 – Furniture, Lawn & Garden
Thursday, Dec. 13 – Sports & Outdoor

A spokesperson told EcommerceBytes, “Each day will feature a selection of carefully curated deals for different friends and family in your life – from foodies to gamers to four-legged friends.” The latest deals and offerings become available at midnight PT each day, he said.

Amazon is also doing some special holiday promotions, such as the following:

The Hyundai Holiday Giveaway: “Amazon Automotive & Vehicles is giving customers a chance to take home a new 2019 Hyundai SANTA FE. From Dec. 1 to Dec. 13, customers can enter at amazon.com/holiday-giveaway – one lucky winner will be announced on Dec. 18.”

The Snapchat and Save: “Snapchat users in New York, Atlanta, Chicago and Los Angeles will have the chance to unlock special offers during 12 Days of Deals. For one day in each city, from Dec. 8 through Dec. 11 and from 7 a.m. to midnight (local time), while supplies last, users can choose the Amazon lens in the Snapchat lens carousel and flip their cameras to the “world view” to unlock exclusive deals on Amazon.”

With retailers offering deals from right after Halloween all the way up to Christmas, it’s enough to make a shopper wonder when is the optimal time to hit the buy button to get the best deals. The 12 Days of Deals landing page will go live on Sunday.
