From Ebay Announcement: “……. we’ve made it clearer how we address attempts to bypass our policy on offers to buy or sell outside eBay. Sellers who violate this policy may be charged a final value fee for the applicable item, even if it doesn’t sell.”
From Ebay Policy: …..In your listing page or in communications with another eBay member you can’t refer to or promote your personal website (including links to home page web addresses that promote websites outside of eBay), sales outside of eBay, or other businesses.
And From @maxmad, who said just a few hours ago: (CAP are mine)
“We add company WATERMARKS in all our stock photos, we show detailed close-ups of our products which include LOGOS with our COMPANY SITE, and we include discount coupons, contact info , WEBSITE LINKS to buy directly in every package we ship, All good, no warnings at all for us.
Well max, here’s another fine mess you’ve gotten us in…………… (Oh, and Uh, you owe for the final value fees on all that stuff)
You can just include it on your monthly “E MOB CUT” (Ebay Monthly Outside Buyers Commisions Under Tos), which I suggested as a possible new Ebay policy, 2 days ago, on the Ecommercebytes com thread titled: “Third Party Tools Now Blamed for eBay Warning Emails”, which discussed the fact that “Sellers said they received warnings from eBay despite not including their contact information in their listings” OMG, OMG, Did I somehow cause this ???. Well let me just take care of that little FVF you owe, how much did you say it was?

WHEN, WHEN, WHEN, will Ebay FINALLY implode, for ASSININE policies like this???
Its only ASSININE IF YOU VIOLATE THE POLICY. 99 % of the people don’t.
I personally wish that BayZon would quit giving out my email address to the buyers.
