It seems that most if not all etail sites are going to get the seller to pay for ads and promoting their listings vs. the site. In other words, the promotion is now going to fall on the seller.
Trinton just posted on a thread that eBay honors a “first use” for allowing a buyer to be able to return something after they have “tested” or “used” it. Would this not scream that a buyer should be able to buy a dress, wear it “the first time” and it’s ok to return it? He just keeps backpedaling on this thread.
See Post 205 on this thread.
This seller should be able to give this buyer enough rope to get them to admit that they have installed 2 out of the 3 tubes and they are using them, which would automatically render them NOT eligible for a return under the eBay MBG (Money Back Guarantee) of having to return them in the condition they were received, even if this secret “first use” is now a thing. This post specifically contradicts eBay’s written policy.
