  1. Etsy, and “Mr Devon”, have just simply worn me out with all the claptrap, balderdash, gibberish, rubbish, mumbo jumbo, garbage, and drivel. Here’s an interesting thought though for them. More than a decade ago Ebay had Millions of items, Millions of sellers, Millions of buyers. No one needed any suggestions of what to buy, or how to find it. Adults, (Who frequently visited the site), knew how to “search” it seems. And you know what? For the most part it all worked quite nicely.

Then Ebay went down the same path Etsy now follows. They tried all this garbage Etsy is trying. They wrecked search, same as Etsy. They favored some sellers over others, same as Etsy. They brought in big monster sellers, same as Etsy. They prostituted their rules, same as Etsy.

Instead of trying all these useless new (used) ideas, which have all been proven worthless long ago……….. Why not just back up a couple of years to where it all worked??? Etsy will go down as a great idea, destroyed by people like yourself, that just can’t THINK! And doing this on MOBILE??? ARE YOU NUTS??? SHEEEEEESH!!!

Incidentally, the two listings that you now have in your own shop, are not allowed by Etsy. Etsy does not allow test listings. No listings are allowed that do not have a real item for sale. Etsy will in fact SHUT DOWN your shop if they find out. At least that is what they do to other shops that run any sort of test like you are running. And a sheet of paper with the word “ART” on it, for $800.00, will NOT pass the Etsy smell test. I have notified Josh, and you will be dealt with.

  2. I’m so disgusted I could throw up…..”Starting today, we’ll be moving forward with showing recommended listings at the bottom of listing pages to all shoppers who come to Etsy from an external source.”
WHAT THE HELL!!! Who is this benefiting??????, Certainly not us, thats bull crap!!!!, they could care less about all of us, their just concerned about their pockets!!! At any cost….That will eventually distroy half of the shops on Etsy, that make and sell handmade or vintage items, period. Why/How?…..because some people wont pay what the item is truly worth, handmade or vintage items come with a higher cost, then an item you find thousands for, because its Handmade (which takes time) OR Vintage, (Antiques that are hard to find for collectors) is what is suppose to make Etsy Original…..

Now they are going right down the path of Ebay. ….Etsy is suppose to be Original, that was the plan before they got GREEDY, like Ebay, Sickening……..Etsy is following in there shoes, they need to follow other great venues that have made it and done well. I wont mention my other shop, but that Venue knows what their doing and they dont have issues at all and I sell on their and do rather good, just started 3 months ago…….
