Reports are coming in from eBay sellers that they are unable to issue refunds to eBay buyers. “I’m trying to refund a buyer, but keep getting an error message: We couldn’t process your request because of a technical issue. Please try again,” a seller reported via Ecommerce EKG.
“No mention of this on the system announcements board,” they added.
“Refunds console not working since 4:24 pm (at least). Trying to refund buyer results in “We couldn’t process your request because of a technical issue. Please try again.” On 4:24 pm the link wouldn’t even work.” They said the problem had been happening since early morning.
Another seller wrote, “Trying to update auto return policy (advanced) Error “Try again later.””
It’s possible the problem is intermittent or only affecting certain sellers and/or transactions. Please indicate whether or not you are having this problem by giving a thumbs up or thumbs down on the Ecommerce EKG board.
