eBay invited some sellers to list up to 1,000 listings for free as part of a special promotion that is running through Sunday, November 29th. “Take advantage of this great offer and put more items in front of eager holiday shoppers,” it wrote, and urged invitees to “hurry.”
Invited sellers who activate the offer can list up to 1,000 auction or fixed price listings and pay no insertion fees – the promotion is in addition to the free monthly listings offered as part of the “everyday rate plan.”
For listings with Good Til Cancelled duration, the promotional rate only applies to the initial listing; renewals will count toward their monthly listing allotment if available, or will be charged the standard insertion fee rates.
Selling limits as well as category and item limits apply and may prevent sellers from creating the maximum number of listings. There are also certain exclusions, such as 1-day and 3-day duration listings.
The promotion kicked off on November 19th and runs through November 29, 2015. All other fees apply, see eBay website for details and restrictions.
Note that eBay often runs variations of a promotion, so check your invitation carefully for differences.
