eBay Holds Sale on Commission Fees for Invited UK Sellers

eBay is holding a 2-day promotion to encourage sellers in the UK to list more items for sale, but it’s for private sellers only. Those invited to participate can list up to 30 auction or fixed-price listings and pay no insertion fees. In addition, they will receive a 25% discount on commission fees (final value fees) for the items that end in a sale.

eBay typically runs frequent promotions for casual (private) sellers – the discount on FVFs is what makes this one is different from the typical sale.

Sellers must be eBay.co.uk registered private sellers who have been invited to participate and must actively opt in to the promotion via the RSVP link shown in the marketing communication.

Participation is linked to the seller’s account and is not transferable, and selling limits apply.

The promotion kicked off on September 27 and runs through the 28th. All other fees apply, see eBay UK website for details and restrictions.
