eBay Encourages Buyers to Sell through Consignment Promo

eBay is running a promotion through April 30th tied to its eBay Valet consignment program. The promotion is targeted at casual users of the site, encouraging recipients to either sell for free or try out its consignment program to sell an item for free.

The email subject line reads, “Here are two easy ways to cash in on items you no longer use.” Inside, it states, “Two options to make money. Either way, you’ll get paid for items you no longer need.”

The first option is, Sell it yourself (“List now for free with our quick listing tool”), the second option is, Let a pro sell for you (“Try eBay Valet for free through April 30).

The promotion is by invitation only and provides a promotion code valid for one order of its Valet consignment program for invited users. Users will receive a 100% discount of the standard valet selling fees for all items sold in their order, it explains.

The terms of the eBay Valet promotion are available on this page of the eBay website.
