Amazon FBA Sellers Encounter Inbound Delays in Europe
Sellers sending inventory to Amazon fulfillment centers in some European countries may encounter delays, Amazon warned on Saturday. It said it was experiencing capacity restraints in fulfillment centers in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic, and Poland.

Amazon will work with shipping carriers to schedule appointments when it finds itself unable to receive sellers' shipments - sellers can check the status of their shipment to FBA fulfillment centers by going to "Shipping Queue." And if a carrier cancels a seller's pickup, sellers will have to arrange a new pickup date with the carrier.

"We understand how important it is to receive your inventory for the holiday season," Amazon said in Saturday's announcement, "and are working to resolve these capacity constraints as quickly as possible."

Sellers in the US encountered issues in October when sending inventory to fulfillment centers on the West Coast. The company told Supply Chain Dive at the time that it was "actively working to mitigate these delays and expect to be back to normal processing times in the next few weeks."

It may seem late to be sending more inventory to Amazon for the holidays, but while Christmas is just over 4 weeks away, shoppers generally continue shopping into the New Year.
