Amazon Gives Sellers a Deal for Using MCF to Fulfill Walmart Orders

Walmart had given its sellers official permission to use Amazon MCF (Multi Channel Fulfillment) when it updated its Shipping & Fulfillment policy last month. Now Amazon is running a promotion to attract Walmart sellers to the Amazon fulfillment program.

Amazon told sellers, “To make it easier for you to fulfill Walmart orders with Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF), we’re waiving the 5% surcharge for use of alternative carriers. This fee waiver will be in effect through January 14, 2026.”

Amazon said sellers who use MCF reduce their out-of-stock rates by 19% on average and improve inventory turnover by 12%. It based the claim on data from “590,000 Amazon sellers who used MCF and shipped more than 100 units with FBA in 2023, versus those who only used FBA during the same time period.”

Walmart sellers can use one of Amazon’s supported order management apps to connect their Walmart account to MCF, or they can submit manual orders on Seller Central. The full post on Amazon Seller Central explains more.
