eBay’s doing everything it can to encourage sellers to purchase online postage on its site for their eBay orders. Today, it announced that all sellers can get its best available USPS commercial shipping rates during the holidays on domestic Priority and Priority Express shipping when using eBay labels.
“You can save an average of 30% on domestic Priority Mail services when you use eBay labels. Exact savings will depend on the weight of your item and how far it’s being shipped.” The savings are between 20 – 36% off Priority Mail packages, and 15% discounts on Priority Mail Flat Rate products.
“These are the best USPS shipping rates we offer on eBay labels, and they’re now available to all sellers for the first time. These savings could really help you get ahead this holiday selling season. Plus this extra incentive makes it easier than ever to try selling on eBay for the very first time. It’s our way of saying Happy Holidays and thanks for selling on eBay!”
The U.S. Postal Service gives everyone who buys postage online its Commercial Base pricing, including on its own Click N Ship website.
That means all eBay sellers who use eBay Labels to pay for postage and print shipping labels also get USPS Commercial Base pricing. In addition, eBay gives Commercial Plus pricing to all eBay Top-rated sellers and sellers with an average of 2,500 or more transactions per month and to Gold and Silver PowerSellers with an average of 300 transactions per month.
The special promotional rate is good through December 31, 2014. See details and restrictions on the eBay website.
