eBay is running a “Pre-Holiday Doorbuster Deal” promotion in which invited sellers can list up to 3,000 fixed-price listings and pay no insertion fees. Sellers who qualify will have received an email or message in their My eBay account.
The invitation advises sellers, “Start planning for Black Friday and put more items in front of millions of holiday shoppers.”
The promotion kicked off on November 4 and runs through November 6, 2014. eBay is including 3-, 5-, 7-, 10-, and 30-day listing durations in this promotion.
All existing selling limits as well as category and item limits apply and may prevent sellers from creating the maximum number of listings in this promotion.
Sellers must activate the promotion from the invitation email or promotion landing page. eBay explained:
The Promotion excludes listings created prior to a seller activating the offer or with a start date prior to Tuesday, November 4, 2014 (including those listings revised during the Promotion Period). Additionally, the Promotion excludes listings that are created during the Promotion Period, but scheduled to start after the Promotion Period. Listings created prior to Tuesday, November 4, 2014, but after a seller activates the Promotion, which are scheduled to start during the Promotion Period, are eligible for the Promotion.
