eBay is enticing business sellers in the UK to upgrade their Shop by running a special promotion, though it is by invitation only.
eBay’s email message to sellers explained, “We noticed that you are listing a lot lately. Why not consider moving to the next shop level? It could save you money.”
Only business sellers registered on eBay.co.uk as residents in the UK and who are invited by eBay to take part in the promotion are eligible, and the promotion is valid until April 26th.
There are three types of eBay Shops in the UK, and three types of promotions; the first offers a free trial of a Basic Shop for 2 months; the second offers a free 2-month upgrade to a Featured Shop for those with an existing Basic Shop; and the third offers a free 2-month upgrade to an Anchor Shop for those with an existing Featured Shop.
Sellers must proactively cancel the Shop upgrade before the promotion period ends if they don’t wish to upgrade permanently and pay the extra fees.
