eBay is giving casual (non-business) sellers in the UK yet another free-listing promotion. Sellers who are registered as private sellers on eBay.co.uk who receive an invitation can list up to 100 listings and pay no insertion fees.
In addition, if any of those items sell, they receive a 50% discount on Final Value Fees. The promotion applies to both auction and fixed-price listings.
According to the terms of the promotion, “An eligible item previously scheduled to go live during the promotional period will qualify for the promotion only if you have opted in to the promotion before the listing starts. If an item qualifies for the promotion and when the item sells, the invoice will indicate the 50% final value fee discount.” But if the item doesn’t sell the first time and is automatically relisted, the full final value fees will be charged.
The promotion kicked off on Monday, April 25, and runs for 9 days. Sellers who receive an invitation must first activate the promotion.
All other fees apply, see invitation for details and restrictions.
