eBay UK is running a month-long promotion for casual sellers – those who are registered as private, not business, sellers. The promotion kicked off on June 1st and runs through the end of the month.
Sellers who were invited to participate can list up to 100 listings a day and pay no insertion fees. The promotion includes fixed-price and auction listings, but eBay warned, “Insertion fees for 1 day & 3 duration listings, listing upgrade fees, automatically relisted listing fees and final value fees will still apply.”
Participation is linked to the seller’s account and is not transferable, and sellers must be registered as a resident in the UK.
The invitation states under the section, “How do I get the promotional rate?”:
“Only items listed on eBay.co.uk using the auction-style (excluding 1 & 3 days duration) or fixed price (excluding 3 days duration) format in an eligible category are included. Listings using the auction-style with Buy it now format will be charged only the listing upgrade fee.”
Sellers should also note the following:
- Items that are automatically relisted will get charged.
- Free listings in this promotion do not count towards your monthly 20 free listings
The promotion landing page states, “ONLY PAY WHEN YOU SELL. ENDS 30 JUNE.”
All other fees apply, see your invitation for details and restrictions.
