eBay June Seller Update Impacts Coins, Trading Cards, Payment Disputes

eBay announced its June 2026 Seller Update on Thursday, which makes changes in two categories: Coins (requiring standardized condition) and Trading Cards (adding a pricing tool). eBay also announced a new “Intelligent Dispute Defense” that lets sellers respond to payment disputes in one click with AI-generated replies.

eBay said the Trading Card Price Tool is now available to all sellers: “Open the eBay app and start exploring. Scan your trading cards or tap See insights from any listing to better understand market trends and your card’s value.”

And starting in the middle of this month, “all coin listings must include standardized condition details. Review and update your listings now to keep selling smoothly.”

eBay also announced “Intelligent Dispute Defense,” although it provided little information and simply linked to the “Handling payment disputes” help page which made no mention of the feature as of Friday afternoon, a fact noticed by sellers discussing the new feature on the eBay discussion boards.
