eBay is going back to an old playbook by running a flash sale this weekend. Shoppers can get 15% off items in the fashion category by using a special code (PRICEFAB) at checkout.
The sale kicked off on September 27 and runs through September 28, 2019, and is good on minimum purchase in Fashion of $25 (with a maximum $100 off).
eBay is also running a separate flash sale in the UK, more information can be found on this page of the eBay UK website.
eBay had run many sitewide flashsales in 2018 – what makes them particularly interesting is that eBay subsidizes them, benefiting sellers. Be sure to read the fine print for details and restrictions.
Also interesting is that this year, eBay had to specify what would happen if a shopper was making purchases from both “managed payments seller(s) and non-managed payments seller(s).” Eventually all sellers will be forced to use eBay payment processing.
