Etsy Sellers Prep for Holidays with Christmas Market Plans

Etsy sellers are busy preparing for the holiday shopping season, and in the UK, those plans include hosting IRL Christmas markets (in real life).

As Etsy explained, Etsy Made Local UK is a collection of seller-led, Etsy-sponsored markets “that bring the unique and magical world of Etsy to life across the UK each Christmas season.”

For example, the Etsy Manchester Team is hosting an Etsy Made Local – Manchester event at a museum from November 29 through December 1st, described as follows:

Etsy Made Local – Manchester (Nov 29, 2019–Dec 1, 2019)
ABOUT THIS EVENT: EtsyMCR wishes you a very Merry Craftmas! Etsy Made Local: Manchester is a Christmas Market showcasing beautiful handmade gifts, cards and more; back for its fourth year in the historic People’s History Museum. Visitors will find unique, one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts from more than 40 Manchester-based designer-makers and artisans.

Etsy told sellers the events present “a great opportunity to get to know your customers IRL, get immediate feedback on your products and build your social following. Turn those shoppers into repeat customers!”

  1. As usual the wording refers to “artisans” and “making” so Etsy vintage sellers are left out in the cold YET AGAIN! Yet we pay the same fees. Thanks Etsy.
