eBay Kills Free Version of ShipRush Shipping Service

eBay sellers will no longer have access to a free version of ShipRush shipping software – but they’ll have the option to pay for a regular subscription directly from ShipRush if they wish to use the more fully-featured version. According to the ShipRush website dedicated to the free eBay version:

“This service is being discontinued on 5/30! For existing users, please navigate to Settings, click on your Pitney Bowes account and click the link at the top: “Migrate to regular ShipRush and get FREE service for at least two months!”

“This will help ensure you can keep shipping with no interruption in service!

“New users should simply create an account on My.ShipRush.com for easy eBay shipping!”

Update 5/7/19: Accounts will be shut down this week.

ShipRush Product Manager Rafael Zimberoff explained that eBay and Pitney Bowes elected to no longer make ebay.shiprush available for free, but all current ebay.shiprush users can convert to regular ShipRush and receive two months of free service.

ShipRush software has more features than the eBay-only version, but sellers must pay a monthly fee after the 2-month period. In addition to the features eBay sellers were used to, Zimberoff said regular ShipRush also offers the following:

  • Full support for Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime shipping (with no label fee)
  • More shipping carriers (OnTrac and many others)
  • Access to the all new ShipRush GUI
  • LTL and freight shipping
  • FedEx discounts for on- and off-eBay shipping
  • The same look, feel and features eBay sellers love and rely on.

Look for additional news from ShipRush soon, you can learn more on the ShipRush website, which now states, “eBay.ShipRush has not been renewed by eBay. It is being shut down shortly. The good news is you can easily convert your account to a regular ShipRush web account for free, with little more than the click of a button. You are eligible for FREE ShipRush today, by converting your account to a regular ShipRush account. “

  1. once again fleecebay screws all the sellers that were using ship rush for free.

the only free thing the delusional ceo wants is free returns

  2. Thanks alot for the heads up. Because I am not a TRS and I’m never going to meet eBay’s 97% on time delivery I’ll have to run the numbers for the rest of the month to see whether paying the 29.95 will be of benefit. Between commercial plus pricing and cubic pricing it just may. Am I sad they discontinued this? Sure. Am I mad? Not really.. I got free discounts and a better shipping layout for 12 months without being a TRS. I like Shiprush’s setup a lot better than eBays so even if I’m breaking even I’ll probably stay there.
