eBay Chief Marketing Officer Suzy Deering will speak at the Advertising Week New York conference in New York next month where eBay will also hold a half-day summit as part of the conference agenda.
The eBay Commerce Marketing Summit will consist of the following three panels: “Where Content Meets Commerce”; “Getting Personal – A Customer Experience”; and “Key Trends Shaping the Future of eCommerce,” which will take place on the afternoon of October 2nd.
Sam Crosby, eBay Senior Product Manager of Programmatic Science and formerly of Amazon’s A9.com subsidiary, which develops search engine and search advertising technology, will speak on a panel about personalization and using better data to provide a greater experience for the customer.
Also speaking at the eBay summit will be Bridget Davies, eBay Vice President of Advertising North America, who will appear on a panel to discuss key trends shaping the future of ecommerce.
On October 1st, eBay Chief Marketing Officer Suzy Deering will speak on a panel session at Advertising Week titled, “The Brand Balancing Act: The Debate Between Driving Awareness vs. Performance.”
And Tony Flanery-Rye, eBay Senior Director of Growth Analytics, will speak on a panel about the key to unlocking marketing effectiveness on October 4th.
Pretty obvious that it’s just an advertising platform, not an actual “Marketplace”
