Amazon Raises Fees for Mexico Marketplace


Amazon logoAmazon is raising the costs of selling on its Mexico marketplace. It sent the following letter to sellers to remind them that promotional referral fees will change effective February 5, 2018. In some categories, the rates are doubling or even, as is the case with Toys & Games, tripling.

This is a reminder to inform you that on February 5th, 2018, our promotional referral fees will be changing for the Mexico Marketplace. You can find the details of the new promotional referral fees in Seller Central.

A referral fee is paid on each item sold on Amazon. Fees vary across categories and marketplaces.

Where can I find the new referral fees?
The new referral fees schedule is posted on Seller Central. Please remember to be logged in through the Mexico Marketplace version of Seller Central to view the correct fees for that marketplace. You can view the new fee schedule here.

Will this affect the fees in the other marketplaces where I sell?
No, this fee change only affects the Mexico Marketplace. Fees are subject to the marketplace where your sale happens.
