eBay Canada issued a warning that some sellers have experienced problems resulting from its new shipping platform. A handful of Canada Post retail counters are having difficulties processing packages with the new eBay shipping labels – and it offered advice on what to do if you have a problem.
The announcement follows:
Issues Inducting Parcels at Canada Post Outlets
We’ve heard reports that a few sellers have experienced issues at the Canada Post retail counter when dropping off orders for shipment, both for labels printed on PayPal’s new label platform, and for labels printed on the new Shippo platform. This appears to be happening only at a handful of outlets, so far impacting roughly 1 out of every 1,000 shipments.
Should the Canada Post clerk at your local Post Office or retail outlet have difficulty processing your shipment, Canada Post’s guidance is for sellers to encourage the clerk to contact Canada Post’s retail help desk for support.
Alternatively, if it fits, you can always drop your parcel into a Canada Post mail box anywhere in Canada.
