eBay Reaches African Shoppers through Mall for Africa

eBay is reaching African shoppers through ecommerce platform Mall for Africa, which has created a dedicated website for eBay shoppers in Nigeria and Kenya. The deal is an extension of a partnership that began last year with the launch of a mobile shopping app available in four African countries. The press release follows:

MallforAfrica (MFA), Africa’s prominent e-commerce and m-commerce platform, announced today that it has launched a new dedicated website for eBay shopping enthusiasts in Africa. The website ebayforafrica.com is now available in Nigeria and Kenya.

In this extended relationship, MallforAfrica has created a best-in-class shopping experience for customers in Africa, allowing them to access tens of millions of eBay.com listings. MallforAfrica and eBay began their alliance last year with the launch of the eBay “Powered by Mall For Africa” app in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and South Africa.

Additionally, customers have the ability to track the status of their packages from end-to-end, as well as feel rest assured with ebayforafrica.com’s Returns & Exchanges program, which covers most transactions.
