eBay Encourages Auction Listings in Fashion and Collectibles

eBay is running a promotion for sellers in the Fashion and Collectibles categories, but it’s by invitation only. Invited sellers can list up to 1,000 auction listings in qualifying categories and pay no insertion fees during the month of April.

Sellers must activate the promotion by selecting “Activate offer” in the invitation email or on the Promotion landing page. Items listed prior to a seller activating the promotion will not be eligible for the promotional rate.

Qualifying Fashion and Collectibles categories include:

Clothing, Shoes & Accessories
Health & Beauty
Jewelery & Watches
Coins & Paper Money
Dolls & Bears
Entertainment Memorabilia
Pottery & Glass
Sports Memorabilia, Cards & Fan Shop
Toys & Hobbies

The promotion kicked off on April 1 and runs through April 30, 2016, and is in addition to the free listings per month as part of the everyday rate plan.

Typically promotions on eBay.com had included listings on eBay.ca, but it appears this promotion excludes Canada, possibly having to do with the move to make eBay Canada a single-currency platform.

The promotion excludes items listed in the fixed price format and items listed in 1-day or 3-day duration. All other fees apply, see invitation for details and restrictions.
