Visa Checkout Reaches More Shoppers

Visa Checkout is making it easier for more people to sign up for an account, it announced this week. Bank of America is helping customers enroll in Visa Checkout by directly populating their Bank of America cards into Visa Checkout through its online banking service.

Bank of America cardholders can chose any card they prefer, including Visa debit, to enroll in the service. Then when using Visa Checkout to buy online, the consumer’s shipping and billing information is automatically populated on the merchant site.

The advantages of using Visa Checkout, according to the company: “The payment experience is not only fast, it’s also secure and optimized to make payments easy on any device: computer, tablet or mobile.”

A spokesperson for Visa Checkout said Bank of America is one of the first banks to integrate its cards into the service and provide seamless enrollment directly from its site, “eliminating added steps and making it easier than ever for customers to shop online, on any device.”
