eBay UK Runs Sale on Commission Fees

eBay is running a promotion in which it’s giving some UK sellers the opportunity to list up to 100 items with no listing fees and receive 50% off final value fees on any of those items that sell.

eBay sent the 9-day promotion on March 20th to a subset of private (non-business) sellers. The sale is good on both auction and fixed-price listings.

Sellers must opt in to the promotion before listing in order to get the promotional rates. Here’s how eBay describes the promotion:

“eBay.co.uk registered private sellers who have been invited to participate and have actively opted in to the promotion via the RSVP link shown in the marketing communication. Participation is linked to the seller’s account and is not transferable. Sellers must be registered as a resident in the UK.”

According to the terms and conditions, free listings in the promotion do not count towards sellers’ monthly 20 free listings. All other fees apply, sellers should read their invitation for details and restrictions.
