eBay Invites First Time Sellers to List for Free

eBay is running a promotion to attract first-time sellers – an eBay registered user who has never sold an item on eBay.com under any user ID or on any eBay-affiliated sites.

eBay outlines the main terms as follows: eligible sellers who activate the offer and then list in the fixed price, auction-style, or auction-style with Buy It Now format will pay no final value fees for the first sold item listed during the promotion period; 5-, 7-, 10-, and 30-day listing durations are included; 1-day and 3-day listing durations are excluded.

Free final value fees will be applied to the seller’s first sold item listed during the promotion; and note that sellers must activate the promotion.

The invitation to participate went out to sellers on December 25th and the terms have since been tweaked. The promotion runs through February 29, 2016.

See eBay website for details and restrictions.
