eBay Runs Another Listing Promotion

eBay is running yet another free-listing promotion to encourage sellers to list inventory, telling them it’s time to get ready for the busiest season of the year. Eligible sellers can list up to 1,000 auction or fixed-price listings and pay no insertion fees.

It appears to be a general run-of-the-mill promotion typical of eBay these days. Invited sellers must activate the promotion by selecting “Activate offer” in the invitation email or on the promotion landing page.

The promotion does not apply to listings with 1-day or 3-day duration, final value fees, or optional upgrade fees. All existing selling limits as well as category and item limits apply and may prevent sellers from creating the maximum number of listings

eBay reminded sellers that for listings with Good ‘Til Cancelled duration, the promotional rate only applies to the initial listing; “renewals will count toward your monthly listing allotment if available, or will be charged the standard insertion fee rates.”

eBay kicked off the promotion on October 28 and it runs through November 2nd. All other fees apply, see invitation for details and restrictions.
