eBay UK often runs promotions for private sellers, but this one is a bit different in duration and listing format. The promotion provides invitees with up to 100 free listings using either auctions or Fixed-Price with Best Offer. (Trying to figure out whether eBay really wants more auctions or fewer auctions is challenging these days.)
eBay explains the promotion: “eBay.co.uk registered private sellers who have been invited to participate and have actively opted in to the promotion via the RSVP link shown in the marketing communication. Participation is linked to the seller’s account and is not transferable. Sellers must be registered as a resident in the UK.”
And, it stated, “Free listings in this promotion do not count towards your monthly 20 free listings.”
The invitation-only promotion kicked off on August 5th and runs through August 10, 2015.
