eBay is running a 3-day free-listing promotion for sellers in the UK. eBay sent invitations to private (casual) sellers with the subject line, “Accept the offer and get up to 100 free listings.”
Those invited to participate can list up to 100 auction or fixed-price listings and pay no insertion fees – but they must actively opt in to the promotion via the RSVP link shown in the marketing email to get the promotional rates.
Only eBay.co.uk registered private sellers who are invited and who have actively opted in to the promotion can participate. Participation is linked to the seller’s account and is not transferable. Sellers must be registered as a resident in the UK, and only sellers whose accounts meet eBay’s minimum seller performance standards are eligible.
Free listings in this promotion do not count towards sellers’ monthly 20 free listings.
Some fine print worth noting: If an item that is eligible for the promotion had previously closed without a successful sale and is re-listed during the promotion period, it will form a part of the 100 listings limit of the promotion – you will not receive a refund of your original insertion fee if the item sells. When items have been automatically relisted with the Quick Sell form, this won’t count towards your allocation of 100 free insertion fees during the promotion.
The promotion runs from Sunday, July 12 through Tuesday, July 14, 2015. All other fees apply, see your invitation for details and restrictions, you can also find a description on the eBay UK website.
