eBay Runs $10 Coupon Promotion with a Catch

One of eBay’s latest promotions eschews the normal free listings, instead giving sellers a coupon – but only if they list an item and it sells. “List an item today and get a $10 coupon to spend on eBay when your item sells within 15 days,” the eBay promotion reads. It defines a sold item as one paid for in full by the buyer.

The coupon promotion is by invitation only and applies to auction-style, auction-style with Buy It Now, or fixed price listings. The coupon will be issued within three weeks after the promotion period ends and comes with an expiration date.

eBay is also running a promotion encouraging sellers to list in the auction format that runs through Thursday, March 19th.

As with most other eBay promotions, only sellers whose accounts meet eBay’s minimum seller performance standards are eligible for the $10 coupon promotion, and all selling limits as well as category and item limits apply.

Be sure to see the invitation for details and restrictions.
