New eBay Promo Encourages Sellers to Run Auctions

eBay is running a promotion encouraging sellers to list in the auction format, but it’s only for those sellers who receive an invitation. Those who receive and activate the offer can list up to 1,500 auction or auction with Buy It Now listings and pay no insertion fees. In addition, the normal fee for adding a 10-day duration option is waived during the promotion.

As is the norm with promotions offered in recent weeks, eBay is only extending the free listings to new listings – relisted items are excluded from the promotion.

All existing selling limits as well as category and item limits apply and may prevent sellers from creating the maximum number of listings. 5, 7, and 10-day listing durations are included in this Promotion.

The promotion is available to invited sellers who receive an email and/or message in My eBay; who activate the promotion; and who meet eBay’s minimum seller performance standards.

The promotion runs from March 13 through March 19th.
