eBay UK is running a promotion for private (casual) sellers, but with unusual terms and conditions. This one is an invitation-only promotion for eBay.co.uk registered private sellers, and gives them the ability to relist one auction that didn’t sell the first time and receive a 30% discount on Final Value Fees when (if) the item sells.
The promotion applies to one item only, and sellers must manually relist the selected item using the eBay relist function.
Other conditions that apply: the promotion only applies to one auction listing that has no reserve price set. It’s also important to note that listings that are automatically relisted during the promotional period do not apply.
“You won’t pay an insertion fee for the manually relisted item,” eBay UK explains, but it warns, “feature fees will still apply and will be charged according to the eBay fees policy.”
Participation is linked to the invited seller’s account and is not transferable. To take part in this promotion, sellers must be registered as resident in the UK. The promotion runs for 7 days after receipt of the offer.
