eBay Warns Australian Sellers of Higher Shipping Costs

eBay warned sellers in Australia of higher shipping costs from that country’s postal service. Australia Post will be making price adjustments to selected parcel products, including certain rates impacting an eBay co-branded flat-rate shipping box, it told sellers.

Australia Post will adjust prices for the Australia Post/eBay 5kg flat rate box (BX4) and other products, effective March 2, 2015.

“Postage prices will remain unchanged for Australia Post/eBay 500g and 3kg flat rate satchels and 1kg (BX1) and 3kg (BX2) flat rate boxes,” it said. “Packaging prices will also remain unchanged for Australia Post/eBay products.”

More information is available on the eBay Australia announcement board and on the Australia Post website.
