eBay UK is rolling out changes to the header layout and functionality. The Community link currently found at the top right-hand side of the page will move to the footer, a move that confused some users in the U.S. when eBay made the change on eBay.com.
eBay will also move the two navigation links at the top right-hand side of the page for “Sell” and “Help & Contact” to the top left side of the header.
Currently the Community link at the top right of the page has a drop-down menu with the following options: News, Discussion Boards, Answer Centre, Groups, and MyWorld. And the Help link has a drop-down menu with the following options: Help Topics, Contact us, Resolution Centre, and Safety Centre.
The marketplace, which announced the pending changes on Thursday, explained there will no longer be any drop-down menus associated with the header links.
“You can still find the pages that used to appear in the drop-down options through the Help & Contact page,” it wrote, and “a new Notifications section can be found on the right hand side of the header.”
