eBay Updates Policies for Sellers in Australia

eBay Australia has updated some of its policies for sellers, it announced this week. It rewrote its “hazardous, restricted or regulated materials policy” to set out more clearly what is and is not permitted to be sold on eBay.com.au, and to align the policy to other eBay sites.

eBay explained that most sections of the policy have new and/or more detailed guidelines – including chemicals, fireworks, refrigerants, pesticides and radioactive materials.

eBay Australia also updated its Profanity policy to put the page into a newer format and align it to other eBay sites. However, it said, there are no material changes to the policy requirements.

See details on the eBay Australia announcement board.
